Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 July 2026
This policy covers the Verbatim marketing site and the Founding Member purchase. It explains what we collect when you visit this page or claim a seat, how we use it, and how to reach us. Your use of the Verbatim product itself, once you have a seat, is also subject to the privacy terms shown inside the product. Verbatim is operated by CMS Lookup LLC, a New York limited liability company; in this policy, "Verbatim," "we," and "us" mean CMS Lookup LLC.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, when you claim a Founding Member seat. These are collected by our payment processor at checkout and shared back to us so we can set up your seat and contact you.
- Your name, practice or company, email address, and phone number, if you submit them to ask us to send launch updates or to request access from this page. If you give us a phone number, we use it only to reach you about your request or your seat. We do not make automated marketing calls or send marketing texts, and we do not use these details for anyone else's advertising.
- Payment details are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout. We do not see or store your card number. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the contact details above.
How we use it
- To create and provision your Founding Member seat.
- To send you product updates and the changelog newsletter that comes with your tier.
- To respond to your questions and to handle refunds.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that run our checkout and email, and only so they can perform those functions for us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your purchase and contact records for as long as you hold a seat and for as long afterward as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us. We honor opt-out requests promptly, and in no case more than 10 business days after we receive them, at no cost to you. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights. To make a request, email billing@cmslookup.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Analytics and security
Our website uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we hold.
Children and location
Verbatim is a professional tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. The service is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice.
